You just have to accept reality. Or instead of watching mushy movies, manood ka ng mga teen flicks tas panoorin mo kung gano ka-gago ang guys sa States tas be happy nalang na hindi ganon ang boys natin:) They may be passive but at least we know in our hearts that they love us. But it wouldn't hurt to be reassured once in a while:)
